Mental Training for Elite Athletes

We’ve been there…

There are minutes left in the game and you have a small lead. You’ve practiced, you’ve trained, you’ve sacrificed. The game is yours to lose and physically, you could do this in your sleep. But you start to panic. Your palms start to sweat. Fear, doubt, and insecurity come rushing in. You question if your body is fully healed from your last injury. And you freeze and become consumed with the last mistake you made.

This is the exact moment where your mindset will either bring you to victory or defeat. Are you willing to learn how to witness this moment in a calm and clear state? Or will you let years of physical training go to waste?

The choice is yours.

Mental performance is what happens between stimulus and response. That moment when our thoughts, strategies, and perspectives will determine our outcome. Simply, it’s taking action from a place of strength and confidence. In our Athletic Mental Performance Programs, we teach you strategies to abandon negative thoughts and how to cultivate positive and neutral states of being. You will see opportunities in the worst of conditions, learn how to breathe through the pressure, and show up as your whole, confident self.

When training with us, you learn why your mind is your biggest asset and your competitive edge.

We utilize science-based techniques like mediation, visualization, Mental Emotional Release®, breathwork, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, yoga, and hypnosis.

How Mental Performance Can Improve Your Game?

8 Week Signature Program

“The Shift”

This program is for athletes who are ready to take action to shift their mindset, knowing that small changes have a huge impact. You will get personalized coaching so you can overcome your specific blocks to reach your goals, no matter how big they are.

This program is for individual athletes, teams, groups, and clubs.

We know that athletes schedules fluctuate so you can complete our program in as little as 4 weeks or within 12 weeks.

Step 1: Identify

Identify Mental Hurdles. You know something isn’t working and that is why you are here. We help you identify what that is. Is it fear of letting people down? Doubting your abilities? Feeling anxious from pressure? Think of this step like watching film - we find your strategies, strengths and weaknesses and get to the root of your unique challenges.

Step 2: Release

Release Mental Hurdles. Now, you get rid of what is not serving you to reach the next level. You quiet that voice in your head saying you can’t do something. You let go of that feeling that you are not good enough. We do this at an unconscious level so any beliefs or negative emotions are gone for good. This is our athletes’ favorite step - you walk away feeling confident and knowing you can do anything.

Step 3: Build

Build a Powerful Mindset. With your new clarity and confidence, you’ll learn to implement successful mindfulness techniques that world class athletes use everyday. By cultivating this mindset, you’ll have the ability to adapt to any high pressure situation, quickly bounce back from mistakes, and consistently perform at your highest level.

Step 4: Visualize

Visualize Success. Now, you know who you are and where you want to go. Visualization is the key to help you get there. We teach you how to effectively envision and evoke the feelings, the sounds, and the smell of success. You have a big life ahead of you and our techniques will support you long after the final buzzer.

After completing our program:

64.5% of our athletes meditate 2-4 times a week

79% of athletes reported increase in trust

66.2% of athletes felt more calm & patient

Testimonials

  • "Under the guidance of AMP, our players experienced a remarkable transformation. Through visualization techniques and a variety of mindset strategies, they developed a newfound sense of confidence and resilience. As a coach, witnessing our team play with greater freedom and focus was immensely rewarding, and it directly contributed to our qualification for the national tournament."

Josh Rohlfing, Head Coach at Southern Oregon University

  • I started the program during a crucial time in my soccer career, living in Germany and being on trial with a high-level club. [AMP] helped me deal with the pressure, remain calm no matter what I was faced with, and play with more confidence than I ever have before. Thanks to this, I ended up signing a contract with the team that I was on trial with and now continue to live my dream of playing soccer in Germany. [AMP] taught me methods and gave me perspectives that I have never heard of or used before, even when I spent time at professional academies. Highly recommend this to any athlete that is looking to get the most out of themselves and reach their full athletic potential.

  • “AMP guides, teaches, and supports athletes and teams in mind, body, self. AMP brings athlete's teams together, and helps these athletes in all walks of life.”

    — Paul E., Hall of Fame Coach

  • My mindset has been generally more positive and I can attest that this has been a large contributor to my growth. I’ve noticed that incorporating more mindfulness and inner work practices has given me opportunities to be successful in ways I hadn’t before. I am able to put perspective in situations and that’s helped my drive stay on track. I’m constantly finding motivation through positive perspective, more than I had before. Overall this has been a great experience and I would recommend it to other athletes.

    Tais, College Athlete

  • The differences I have noticed in my mindset is that worrying about what’s going to come next is what creates stress. I find that it’s best to control what I can control, allowing myself to be present all the time, and find a routine that makes me feel most comfortably me. I’ve shown up differently in that exact way, focusing on the positives and the controllable and being able to focus on my breathing has been beneficial. Yes, I would recommend coaching!
